What do we do in our 1 to 1 time?

To start, we will work together to create and  personalize  household management tools like chore charts, laundry charts, house rules and group agreements. We will revisit these and update as things change and evolve in the house. We will go over all the events happening so they have a full picture of what they have coming up that week and what they can sign up for in the future. These meetings are invaluable opportunities for the resident to share how things are going at the house and with their housemates, what they need support with, and any wins of the week. I will do a walkthrough of their space to get data for my weekly report (see a sample at the bottom of the page!). I will look at things like how clean the fridge is, their room-care and hygiene, the tidiness of their shared spaces, and compliance of their house agreements they made together. 

Meetings are predominantly in person but can be in zoom from time to time when appropriate or necessary. In addition to this, everyone in the Community Collective has access to two of our Community Meals! During this time we will work together in the kitchen to serve up something fun and delicious and break bread with our friends and housemates. 

I will be the hub of information. ‘CC me on everything! Everyone has a little glimpse of your residents day, I will have the full picture. This allows you as the caregiver, to focus less on managing the day to day complexities of maintaining the calendar, and more time to focus on other things - like dare I say.. Relaxing!? I will handle the management of your residents master schedule, that I will curate through open communication with members of their service team and family, along with my expert understanding of the community happenings to fill in those social  gaps.

The Pro Plan adds another 30 minutes onto our 1 to 1 time where we can focus on vocation skills and/or healthy habits. We will create wellness goals that we will review weekly to keep you on track. Accountability baby! The vocation support I  provide includes: building/editing their career portfolio, interview preparation & role playing, problem solving issues that arise at work, building and practicing scripts, and co-creating task lists and adaptive tech support (think alarms/timers/apps that can help in the workday)
